Thanks for visiting the South Dakota Fraternal Order of Police website! The Fraternal Order of Police is the world's largest organization of sworn law enforcement officers, with more than 377,000 members in more than 2,100 lodges.
The South Dakota State Lodge Fraternal Order of Police is comprised of more than 1,461 active and retired law enforcement officers at the Federal, State and Local levels. Membership is open to all law enforcement officers throughout South Dakota.
The SDFOP is the voice of those who dedicate their lives to protecting and serving our South Dakota communities. Our mission is to improve the working conditions of law enforcement officers of this great state. We do this through legislation, education and community involvement.

Grant County Deputy Griffee support!
Steve and April Griffee and their family are enduring an unimaginable tragedy after their home was completely engulfed in flames. Along with their house and belongs, they suffered an even more unimaginable loss. The family lost a child, Cade Renville, in the fire that took everything from them. Though there is nothing that can make this all better, we want to help them in any way we can.
As a dedicated law enforcement officer, Steve has tirelessly served and protected his community for many years. Now, it’s our turn to stand by him and his family during this heart-wrenching time. Join us in providing financial support to help alleviate the burdens of this catastrophic loss and honor their privacy as they begin the difficult journey of rebuilding their lives.
